Travelling in a wheelchair may require more preparation but that shouldn't stop you from discovering new places!

With construction weeks just around the corner, we're offering you a few tips to make your trip more than perfect.

  2. Choose wisely : choose destinations renowned for their accessibility. Many cities around the world have taken steps to make their attractions and infrastructure more wheelchair accessible. 

  3. Tools : make sure you brin with you all the equipment you need for your trips, such as portable ramps, extra cushions, tools for repairing your wheelchair and so on. It's best to have everything on hand.  

  4. Travel insurance : check that your travel insurance covers any medical or assistance expenses related to your condition and your wheelchair.  

  5. Find out about local laws and customs : find out about laws and customs concerning accessibility and the treatment of people with disabilities. This can help you avoid problems and make your stay easier.
